Film Fridays: “Watchmen” Teaser Trailer

While I know the teaser trailer isn’t for a movie, technically, or at least based on the description provided on the Youtube video I found, I had to mention this trailer for our “film Friday,” considering the fact that the “Watchmen” movie and comic book were two of my favorite medias when I was a bit younger. I thought the concept of these kind of “aging,” no longer “golden” heroes and vigilantes is such an amazing concept, because I think all the “Batman” and “Spider-Man” stories of youthfulness become a bit boring after a while, and it’s a much different concept to piece together when, naturally, the superheroes we know become less “extraordinary” as they progress into middle-age. It’s a very “realistic” image of heroes that I think rarely comic books address, so I am really looking forward to seeing how this new “Watchmen” series turns out.
